      The Little Saigon San Diego Foundation is excited to announce the return of its flagship event, the Lunar New Year Festival at SDCCU (Qualcomm) Stadium!
      The Lunar New Year is an important Asian holiday that has been celebrated for thousands of years throughout the world, especially in Asia. 2018 marks the Year of the Dog, a modest and loyal animal that represents honesty, intelligence, and reliability. Dog’s positive persistent energy and friendly nature will make for an exciting festival with endless possibilities.
      Scheduled February 9 -11, 2018, the San Diego Lunar New Year Festival attracts over 32,000 guests from across San Diego County and offers a fusion of Asian food stations, unique vendor booths, carnival rides, non-stop live entertainment (including lion dances, concerts and bands such as Hearbreaka GeeQ, Remj Michael Jackson) as well as a highly acclaimed “Cultural Village” featuring breathtaking artistic reconstructions of iconic sculptures, buildings and landscapes from across South East Asia.
      • A unique mix of amazing Asian delicacies: Thai, Lao, Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Philippine are all confirmed to present. Exotic and luscious desserts and delicious beverages such as boba mixed drinks and smoothies. We will have fair favorites such as BBQ ribs and Kettle corn too. Vegetarian and vegan food also available.

      The Lunar New Year Festival will be open Friday, February 9, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Saturday February 10th, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm and Sunday, February 11th, 11 am – 8 pm. Ticket Link:

      Is the event free?
      Children 12 and under are $4. Adults (13+) are $6. Children ages 2 and under are free.

      Are pet allowed at the festival?
      Yes, the festival grounds are pet-friendly. However, to ensure the safety of all guests; please keep your pet on a leash and under control at all times. Please make sure your pet is socialized and generally non-aggressive toward people and/or other pets.

      Do you take credit cards?
      Yes, we accept all major credit cards. However, some vendors may not accept credit cards; there are ATMs at several locations throughout the festival grounds with applicable service fees.

      Are there any discounts available at all?
      You will receive a $1 discount on all admission tickets purchased online on or before 5:00 pm February 9, 2018 – Promotion code: DOG. Discount is also available for group purposed of 15 or more – Promotion code: GROUP.
      At the gate: There will be a $1 discount for Military, Senior Citizen or Disabled, Student.

      I just bought tickets online, how do I know if the procedure was completed?
      You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket(s).

      I purchased tickets online, do I have to wait in line at the gate?
      There will be a separate line just guests with e-tickets.

      I do not have a printer, is it possible to show my e-tickets on my cell phone?
      We encourage all guests to “go green” by presenting your e-ticket using any electronic device. Please make sure we are able to scan the barcode from your device(s).

      Is it true that there is no admission charge for those who born in the year of the Dog? Do I need to show an identification document?
      Yes it’s true! There will be no admission charge for those who born in the year of the Dog. You can provide any valid picture identification that shows your year of birth. For a list of acceptable identification for children, please email us at:
