Built for the 1935-36 California-Pacific International Exposition, this historic site houses 35 art studios in a charming setting that re-creates the feeling of a town square in Spain. More than 50 artists and craftspeople work on site in a wide variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, woodcarving, glass blowing, and pottery. Regular art shows, complete with food and entertainment, are presented on the village's flagstone patio.
