      Description

Strap into an ejection seat, put on a helmet, talk to pilots and try your luck with an "I Spy" activity. See 31 historical aircraft up close in an outdoor setting. Indoor galleries have hundreds of artifacts from the earliest days of aviation to the present.

The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is exclusively dedicated to United States Marine Corps aviation, with the largest and most complete collection of aircraft flown by Marine pilots in the world.

The Museum is staffed almost entirely by veterans, many of whom served as military pilots, air crew, or ground crew. They give tours, share spellbinding stories, and provide eyewitness accounts to make U.S. history come alive. Temporary exhibits for 2019 is on Military Working Dogs.

The museum is open Tues-Sun from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Admission and parking are free.
